EASTLEIGH 2-0 FLEET

4th: Brett Williams shot over the bar from six yards as he connected with an Andy Dickens corner from the right hand side – good chance and good start from home side.

9th: Jordan Hamilton, left back, played a good ball down the touchline to Ben Ngwa who laid the ball off to his right to find Brett Williams whose side footed shot from the edge of the area went straight into the back of the net. 1-0 Eastleigh.

12th: Ben Ngwa lay off for Diallo who turned past his marker superbly before firing a shot in at goal – only to be prevented by a Fleet defender who made a great goal line clearance to prevent his side from going 2-0 down. It was the goal scorer Brett Williams who made a great challenge to win the ball and start the attack.

25th: Toure Mamadouba had a half chance just outside the area. He struck the ball well and forced a good save out of the Fleet keeper.

27th: Another brilliant Eastleigh move. Ben Ngwa held up the ball with a lot of strength and skill to set up right midfielder, Andy Dickens. Dickens’ shot was curling for the bottom left hand corner and it had to be tipped around the post for a corner.

31st: A Dan Brunnen error in the Eastleigh defence let in a Fleet striker to be clean through on Matt Brown’s goal, but the young keeper did ever so well making two top class saves in quick succession.

HALF TIME: Eastleigh 1-0 Fleet

49: Home side started the second half the better side. A left wing cross from Mo (Toure Mamadouba) was met by Ben Ngwa in the centre whose header lacked the power to beat the Fleet keeper.

60: On the hour mark, Fleet were gifted a golden opportunity when a miss placed kick from Brown went straight to the feet of a Fleet striker and with the goal at his mercy and the Eastleigh keeper stranded, he somehow put the ball wide of goal.

68: Substitutions for Eastleigh:
Tom Rae ON, YoYa Diallo OFF
Zach Glasspool ON, Brett Williams OFF
Scott Vidler ON, Andy Dickens OFF

75: Eastleigh doubled their lead with yet another superb strike from within the penalty area from substitute Zach Glasspool who swivelled to lose his man and fired the ball into the top left hand corner all in one quick movement. 2-0 Eastleigh and now the game was well and truly wrapped up.

FINAL SCORE: Eastleigh 2-0 Fleet
