EASTLEIGH: Matt Brown, Mike Dean (Bailey – 63), Jack Smith, Scott Gilham, Ryan Woodford, Craig Cansdale, Adam Roberts, Chris Hall (Sampays – 75), Zach Glasspool, Ben Ngwa (James – 87), Ryan Long.

EASTLEIGH 6-1 FLEET
Eastleigh started the game brightly with Adam Roberts going on a good run down the right wing in the third minute before crossing the ball for Ryan Long who forced a good save out of the Fleet keeper, who tipped it around the post for a corner.
Man of the match Ben Ngwa had a good chance on 12 minutes when a good Eastleigh move involving Dean at right back and Glasspool up front teed up the shot for Ngwa but again the Fleet keeper prevented Eastleigh from taking the lead.
Only three minutes later Eastleigh had another very good chance, this time Glasspool created a chance for Ryan Long but his effort was stopped by the legs of the keeper.
Totally against the run of play, Fleet hit Eastleigh on the counter attack; the pull was pulled back from the right and was fired in past Matt Brown in the Eastleigh goal. 1-0.
This did not stop Eastleigh from playing their football and they were soon back to creating numerous chances. Zach Glasspool used his good footwork to evade several challenges before somehow hitting wide of goal.
Next, Craig Cansdale popping up from midfield got on the end of a Glasspool cross but his side foot volley went over.
In the 31st minute, Eastleigh deservedly got themselves back in the game. It was ZACH GLASSPOOL who went on a good run down the left before squeezing the ball home from a tight angle. 1-1.
BEN NGWA helped Eastleigh to take the lead with a neat lob and a brilliant finish as he latched onto a threaded pass from the midfield. 2-1.
In the last minute of the half Eastleigh scored a deserved third goal. Taz put in a looping cross that was met brilliantly by the head of BEN NGWA. 3-1.
HALF TIME: Eastleigh 3-1 Fleet
Eastleigh came out in the second half with the same passion and determination that helped them to dominate the whole pitch.
In the 67th minute, strike partners Ben Ngwa and Zach Glasspool played a neat one-two before ZACH GLASSPOOL coolly despatched a powerful strike into the roof of the net to extend Eastleigh’s lead to 4-1.
It was 5-1 shortly after when BEN NGWA completed his hat trick when he met Taz’s through ball with a beautiful deft touch to send the ball past the keeper.
And, finally in the 87th minute, ZACH GLASSPOOL grabbed his hat trick with another well taken goal as he let fly from outside the area and fired into the left hand corner of the goal.
Some good football was played from Eastleigh in a match that they dominated almost from start to finish and they fully deserved to pick up the trophy. Congratulations to the Eastleigh players and staff.
