Kits 06/07

Kit design for next season, drawn using photoshop, so not 100% accurate but it will give you a good idea of what to expect of the kit.

As shown the sponsors will be Jewson and Errea for both kits.

Roach Moves On

Neville Roach, who spent most of last season's campaign away from Eastleigh has now left the club by mutual agreement. The striker who notched up nine goals in 21 starts will now be looking out for a new club and we would like to wish him all the best for the future.

Jewson Become Latest Sponsors

NEW SPONSORSHIP DEALS

Jewson become the new shirt sponsors as Eastleigh tie up a three year deal worth £60,000 (£20,000 a year).

Not only will the club be playing at a new stadium - the Silverlake Stadium, with a new shirt sponsor, but also the main stand will now be sponsored by Appleton Signs Ltd in another three year deal totalling £30,000.

There is further good news in that Enfield have put forward a sum of £60,000 to sponsor the project of the forthcoming all-weather pitch which will no doubt enhance the training facilities of the club in our bid for promotion to the Conference National.

In addition to this Briarfield Homes are set to support the club's Football in the Community scheme and they too have helped Eastleigh by putting forward a five figure cheque.

4 New Signings, Plus Contract Boost

Last night, Paul Doswell confirmed on the fans forum that the following players have been signed:

PAUL MUSSELWHITE - Goalkeeper, 36 from League One side Scunthorpe. (pictured: far left)

BRIAN DUTTON - Centre Midfielder, 21 from Weymouth, 6"3 (pictured: second left)

DARREN WHEELER - Pacey Winger, 23 from Weymouth (pictured: third one in from left)

JUSTIN BENNETT - 63 goal season for him at Andover last year, Striker (pictured far right)

This news comes after the completion of Matt Bound signing for the club last week and there is another boost in that captain Danny Smith and central defender Chris Collins have both put pen to paper signing new deals, with Smith signing a 3 year deal and Collins a 2 year deal.

Doswell went on to say that:

"WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK THE CLUB WILL ALSO UNVEIL 2 NEW MAJOR SPONSORS TO GO ALONGSIDE SILVERLAKE. THESE TWO SPONSORS ARE THE NEW SHIRT SPONSORS FOR THE FIRST TEAM AND THE NEW MAIN STAND SPONSOR. LOOK OUT ON THE CLUB WEBSITE FOR LOTS OF BREAKI…

** SILVERLAKE STADIUM **

This morning Eastleigh have confirmed new sponsorship.

The ground will no longer be called the Sparshatts Stadium, but we can reveal that Eastleigh will be playing their football at the Silverlake Stadium.

The deal with Silverlake Autoparts Limited sees us strike a £50,000 3 year deal.

PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY CONFIRMED

Eastleigh will take on Conference National side Oxford United on Wednesday 26th July. Kick off will be 7:45pm.

WEYMOUTH WINGER AND SCUNTHORPE GOALKEEPER HEADING TO EASTLEIGH?

It is rumoured that the club are set to bring in Steve Clark and 37-year-old keeper Paul Musselwhite.

Steve is a winger who is predominantly right footed but can play down either flank. He played for Weymouth last season but was released at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Paul is a very experienced goalkeeper who played for Scunthorpe United in league one last season as their number one. He was born in Portsmouth.

Keep coming back for all the latest rumours and confirmed transfer…

Bound for Eastleigh!

MATT BOUND MOVES TO EASTLEIGH

Eastleigh have captured the highly experienced centre back Matthew Bound who played a strong part in Weymouth's promotion campaign last season.

The 33-year-old is strong in the tackle, good in the air and has played for Southampton up to the age of 21 before moving on to Stockport, Swansea and Oxford.
