Brown Deal Completed

Former Dorchester midfielder/striker Jamie Brown has signed for Eastleigh Liam Green going in the opposite direction where he will spend two months on loan, hopefully picking up valuable first team football.

Brown spent five seasons at the Avenue Stadium scoring 34 goals in 216 games. The 25 year old previously played for BAT and was born in Southampton. Meanwhile Weymouth midfielder Andy Harris, 29 has also joined the ranks on a one month loan deal.

In other player news, striker Dave Town has been released from his Spitfires contract and is now a free agent.

Both new signings will be available for selection for tomorrow night's derby match against Salisbury.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town.
