Dramatic Saints return for Dodd?

Image
A remarkable story was today released by the Daily Echo claiming that Eastleigh manager Jason Dodd, is due for talks with Southampton boss George Burley over a possible move to St. Mary's in a coaching capacity. Saints legend Dodd, guided Eastleigh to Conference South survival having taken to the helm in December and turning around the fortunes of the club. With Glyn Snodin departing St. Mary's just this week, it would appear that Jason, who made 399 appearances for the club, is highly sought after by the Championship club. Click here for source

Tommo - Totton's best ever signing

Martin Thomas has parted company with Eastleigh Football Club, which has been his footballing home for the past three years, to sign for AFC Totton of the Wessex League. 'Tommo' joined the Spitfires back in 2004 and played a key role in getting the club promoted to the Conference South with back to back promotions. The Ex-Saint, no-nonsense utility man found his chances limited however, in the past season and as a result finished the campaign at Winchester City on loan. FA Vase runners up, AFC Totton this week managed to secure what they regard as a 'massive signing', 'one of the club's best ever'. We wish Martin well, and thank him for his great service to the club. Click here for full story from Daily Echo
