Eastleigh Reserves Update

Wyvern Football Combination League Side

Eastleigh Reserves 1 Wimborne Town Reserves 1

Fielding a side with only Jamie Blackburn in the side from the teams opening encounter, a 0-4 away defeat at Bemerton Heath Harlequins, David Hazelgrove's side earned their first point of the season.

Having gone ahead on twenty-seven minutes with an excellent strike from Callum Casson, Wimborne scored an equaliser on the hour through ex-Eastleigh striker Nathan Lynch, now plying his trade in Wimborne.

Both sides had chances to take full points but a lack of composure in front of goal for both sides saw no addition to the scoreline.

Next up for the side is a trip on Saturday (10th) to Sholing Reserves.

Eastleigh: Gareth Schultze, Jamie Blackburn, Ben Wilson, Will Aimson, Liam Hibberd, Jack Vallis, Ryan Lewis, Martin Willitts (Will Sturgess), Sam Wilson, Gary Fitzehorswell (Joe Chamberlain), Callum Casson (Beuno Pembridge).

Suburban League Side

The next fixture for the side is Saturday (10th) when they entertain Hemel Hempstead Town Reserves.
