Aimson given trial at Championship Club

Eastleigh FC reserve team captain Will Aimson has completed a trial with Championship side Hull City. He was given the opportunity to impress Kevin Kilbane and his staff in a match versus Hartlepool on Wednesday.

The commanding centre back has had an impressive season in both the Suburban and Wyvern leagues, and at 17-years-old is certainly a bright prospect.

Aimson is reaping the benefits of playing men’s football at an early age and has coped well with the physical demands of the game.

Eastleigh has a pedigree for producing Football League players with Brett Williams and Aaron Martin making the grade after impressing at non-league level.

Ian Baird added "He's strong, athletic and looks like he's going to be a good player.

"As a club we are pleased with his development and if he continues to work hard he could fulfill his potential."
