Fixture List Announced

With the Football Conference South fixtures announced today, Eastleigh start their quest in search of promotion to the top tier of English non league football with a home fixture against Sutton United.

This will be an intriguing start of season encounter with ex-Eastleigh boss Paul Doswell bringing his side to the Silverlake Stadium. It also means a quick return to The Silverlake for Dale Binns and Mitchell Nelson who left The Spitfires in the summer for Sutton United. 

Also included in the ranks of the Sutton side are ex-Eastleigh players Tom Jordan, Jamie Slabber, Ali Fuseini, Marvin Williams, Anthony Riviere and Wayne Shaw. 

Eastleigh won the corresponding fixture last season with a solitary Jai Reason goal.

The first midweek trip is down to Bath City on Tuesday 20th August, with a local derby at Basingstoke Town the following Saturday. A mouth watering Bank Holiday home fixture with Havant & Waterlooville on Monday 2th August follows.

Eastleigh are exempt in the FA Cup until the Second Qualifying Round which is played on Saturday 28th September and in the FA Trophy exempt until the Third Qualifying Round, which is played Saturday 16th November.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town. It is a new era for the football club and we feel that in appointing Richard we have made the right choice.
