Kit Update for Fun Day

Eastleigh Football Club regrettably announce that due to a supply issue they are unable to release pre-ordered replica shirts to the supporters at the Family Fun Day on Saturday 13th July.

Due to unexpected demand from across Europe for the Royal Blue Nike home strip, which was an exclusive supply to Everton FC for the 2012/13 season, it has sold out in the majority of Adult sizes and is currently unavailable in the UK until approximately early October.

Whilst the interest and pre-orders from the Spitfires fans has been very impressive this problem is not entirely our own doing!!

Unfortunately, in order to fulfil the Clubs requirements for not only replica shirts but for a playing strip for the First Team we have had no choice but to select a slightly different design to the original shirt previously advertised.

The new shirt is the same colour and high quality as the original one and will be available at the same discounted price as published for pre-orders. The only differences are in a slightly contrasting sleeve design and a blue not a white collar.

Eastleigh FC’s Commercial Manager Mark Jewell commented on Friday ” I am very disappointed that we will not be able to deliver the replica Nike shirts to our fans on time, they have been brilliant in placing so many pre-orders, along with their season tickets this year. However, we are working extremely hard with our supplier to ensure that the replacement kit arrives in time for Richard Hill and the team, as well as the supporters for the Home friendly, next Saturday 20th July against Aldershot”. He added ” We really hope this will not spoil the fans enjoyment of our Fun Day on Saturday 13th at the Silverlake and trust that everyone will be there to enjoy the fun and entertainment at this FREE to enter event”.

As planned the season tickets and fixtures cards will be available for collection from 10am until 3pm at the Family Fun Day on Saturday.
