Kevin Watson in at Eastleigh as assistant manager

Ronnie Moore has brought in Kevin Watson to work alongside him at Eastleigh as assistant manager. 

Watson played for Moore whilst at Rotherham in a playing career of 23 years. 

The new man in at the Silverlake Stadium has previously been a coach at Luton Town and more recently had a spell with Stevenage - where he worked with Teddy Sheringham as assistant manager.

Joining on a two-year deal, 42-year-old Watson tweeted of the "big challenge ahead" with Eastleigh having completed his first day with the club:

Having made over 400 senior appearances during a footballing career spanning 23 years, Kevin Watson also has notable coaching experience on his CV. Joining Luton Town as first-team coach in 2009, he most recently took up the position of Assistant Manager to Teddy Sheringham at Stevenage as recently as last year.
