Eastleigh targetman's injury is a pain in the neck

THE mystery of Darius Henderson's absence from the Eastleigh side has been cleared up. The 6ft 4in targetman, signed on a free transfer from Mansfield Town last month, has sat out the last two games with painful neck spasms. The Spitfires were crying out for Henderson's height and physicality on Tuesday as their dire run of home results continued with a 2-0 defeat to Braintree Town.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town.
