Bournemouth friendly arranged

Eastleigh will take on an AFC Bournemouth XI at the Silverlake Stadium on Tuesday (July 25), kicking off at 7pm.

A Spitfires statement said: “With what has been a fairly disruptive pre-season schedule, the club would like to thank Bournemouth for stepping in at late notice.

“Richard and his team feel an additional game against League opposition will be beneficial to all.”

Admission for the Bournemouth match is £5 adults, £3 concessions and free for under-7s.


Eastleigh slot in extra friendly against AFC Bournemouth

EASTLEIGH have slotted an additional fixture into their pre-season programme. Richard Hill's Spitfires will take on an AFC Bournemouth XI at the Silverlake Stadium this coming Tuesday (July 25), kicking off at 7pm. It will be Eastleigh 's first opportunity to play on their newly-laid pitch after the scheduled friendlies against AFC Wimbledon and Portsmouth were cancelled.

Eastleigh Football Club are delighted to announce Richard Hill as their new first team manager, with immediate effect. Richard will be introduced to the players and staff tomorrow evening and will take charge of his first match on Saturday against Maidenhead. Richard is vastly experienced having managed Stevenage Borough and assisted John Gregory at both Wycombe and QPR, Brian Little at Aston Villa and also fulfilled the same roles at Gillingham, Tranmere Rovers and Northampton Town. It is a new era for the football club and we feel that in appointing Richard we have made the right choice.
